Air France allows every passenger to bring one small personal item measuring up to 40 × 30 × 15 cm. This may be a small backpack, handbag or travel bag and must be placed underneath the seat in front of you.
Depending on your fare and travel class, you may also bring or purchase an additional piece of cabin baggage measuring up to 55 × 35 × 25 cm, including handles, pockets and wheels. This larger allowance is ideal for a cabin suitcase, cabin backpack or spacious travel bag stored in the overhead compartment. On Basic fares, additional cabin baggage is generally not included and must be purchased separately.
