Finnair passengers may bring one small personal item measuring up to 40 × 30 × 15 cm. This can be a small backpack, handbag or laptop bag and must be placed underneath the seat in front of you. Economy Superlight tickets include only this small bag as standard.
Most other Finnair fares include an additional carry-on bag measuring up to 55 × 40 × 23 cm. Economy Superlight passengers can purchase this larger baggage allowance separately. It is suitable for a cabin suitcase, cabin backpack or spacious travel bag stored in the overhead compartment. In Economy and Premium Economy, the small bag and carry-on bag generally have a combined weight limit of 8 kg, while Business Class passengers have a combined allowance of up to 12 kg.
