Every Transavia passenger may bring one piece of hand luggage measuring up to 40 × 30 × 20 cm free of charge. This can be a small backpack, handbag or compact travel bag and must be placed underneath the seat in front of you. The measurements include any handles and wheels.
Passengers who require additional space can add a cabin bag measuring up to 55 × 40 × 25 cm to their booking for a fee. This larger allowance is included with Transavia’s Smart and Max fares and is suitable for a cabin suitcase, cabin backpack or spacious travel bag stored in the overhead compartment. The underseat bag and larger cabin bag may have a combined weight of no more than 10 kg.
