On low-cost airlines, the free bag is the small one that fits under the seat in front of you – anything bigger usually costs extra. The Worldpack Cabin Bag is made to the 40×30×20 cm personal-item size, so you can board budget flights with everything you need and skip the baggage fees. Light, soft and simple, it can pay for itself on the very first trip.
40×30×20 cm is the free personal-item size on Ryanair and Wizz Air, and the bag also fits within the under-seat allowance on airlines such as easyJet and Norwegian. Because the fabric is soft, it squeezes easily into the sizer at the gate and under the seat.
Tip: Airline baggage rules and fare types change from time to time, so check your airline's current allowance before you fly.
The single, wide-opening main compartment gives you 23 litres for clothes, shoes and toiletries without dividers getting in the way – often enough for a long weekend or a short city break when you pack smart. Add a set of compression packing cubes and you'll fit even more.
A front pocket and a side pocket keep your passport, wallet, phone and boarding pass separate from your clothes and within easy reach, so you're not digging through the main compartment at security or at the gate.
A strap on the back panel slides over the handle of your suitcase, so the bag rides on top of your trolley instead of hanging off your shoulder through the airport.
At only 300 g, the bag barely touches your weight allowance. It is made from heavy-duty polyester with reinforced corners that help it keep its shape and protect what's inside, while staying soft and flexible.
